What we do

Everyday tech, actually fixed.

No call centers. No hold music. No remote login from someone in another time zone. Just a real person, at your door, with the right cable.

Phones & tablets

iPhone, Android, iPad — setup, backups, transfers, and the ‘why is this thing doing that’ fixes.

Computer setup

New laptop? Old laptop acting up? We unbox, migrate, update, and make it actually fast again.

Wi-Fi & networks

Dead zones, slow streaming, printers that won’t print. We’ll get your whole house talking to itself.

Smart home & TVs

Mounting, calibrating, streaming, smart plugs, thermostats. You point, we plug.

Virus & cleanup

Sketchy pop-ups, scammy calls, ‘Microsoft support’ nonsense — we clean it up and lock it down.

Plain-English help

Stuck on an email, a password, a new app, or just a weird button? Ask away. No judgment, no jargon.

Don’t see it here? Just ask. If we can’t help, we’ll point you to someone who can.

How it works

Three steps. That’s it.

  1. 01
    Tell us what’s up

Call, text, or drop a note. Describe it however you’d describe it to a friend — screenshots welcome.

  2. 02
    We drive to you

Same-day or next-day appointments across Redding, Anderson, Shasta Lake, Palo Cedro and nearby.

  3. 03
    It’s fixed

We fix it, show you what we did, and leave notes in plain English. Pay only if we actually help.

Pricing

Two ways to do this. Both fair.

Pay once when you need me, or lock in a monthly hour so you’re never stuck wondering who to call.

Pay by the job

Simple stuff is cheap. Weird stuff costs a bit more. Always quoted upfront before any work starts.

  • Priced by what you actually need, not by the hour
  • Flat $10 travel fee for anywhere in the service area
  • No fix, no payment. Easy.
  • Good for one-off problems, setups, and emergencies

About

Your neighbor. With more cables.

We Fix I.T. started because my family kept asking the same stuff — why the printer won’t print, why the Wi-Fi dies at 7pm, what that scary pop-up meant. Turns out plenty of other folks had the same questions and nobody friendly was around to answer them. So here we are.

  • Upfront quote before any work starts.
  • Patient with older tech and older relatives.
  • If we can’t fix it, you don’t pay. Simple.
Why I do this

Honestly? Fixing stuff for strangers in their living rooms is the most fun I’ve had at a job. Everyone has tech problems. Nobody wants to deal with them. I like dealing with them. Works out pretty well.

Good questions

Stuff people actually ask.

Where do you service?

Anywhere within about 30 minutes of Redding — Anderson, Shasta Lake, Cottonwood, Palo Cedro, Bella Vista. Outside that? Ask, we probably still can.

How much does it cost?

Two options. One-time visits are priced by the actual job — I’ll quote you before I touch a thing — plus a flat $10 travel fee. Or $50/month gets you one hour of unlimited help every month. Either way, if I can’t fix it, you don’t pay.

What if I just have a question?

That’s literally a service we offer. Quick phone questions are free. If it turns into a whole thing, we’ll tell you before the clock starts.

Do you work on businesses too?

Small businesses, yes — a few computers, a printer, Wi-Fi for the shop. Bigger setups we can refer out.

Can you help my parent / grandparent?

Happily. A lot of our visits are exactly this. We’re patient, we don’t rush, and we leave written instructions.

Ready when you are
